Michael Scoggins exhibition "Colonialism" at the Sacred Heart University and University of Puerto Rico.

Today April the 18th. TPP presented Micahel Scoggins solo exhibition "Colonialism" at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in Santurce and the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus and had quitea big turn around of students. We visited the respective art departments in campus and the art teachers at the moment were kind enough to let all their students off early of class to visit the trailer.

At Sagrado Corazon, Contemporary Art Appreciation teacher and artist Catherine Matos-Olivo brought down the whole class and spoke about Michael's work in what turned out to be a great insight of his work for all students.

Afterwards we rolled down to the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus which is the oldest and most important University in Puerto rico as it is the State College with different campuses all around the Island. Teachers/artists Nathan Budoff, BrendaVargas, Nestor Millan, Martin Garcia were among the teachers that toured their students to see the exhibition.

Right after finishing the expo at the UPR, We were invited across the street by young businessman and collector Antonio Castro for a free tasting of his home-made organic yogurt, after a small introduction of the company and the products, he personally handed samples of their most popular flavors (Strawberry and Mango) to all sutdents and teachers that attended.

It was a great expereince and great to support local business and work together.
