Jose Morales at Trailer Park Proyects

Late post to document the last exhibition of Trailer Park Proyects on December 2015. This exhibition was special because I got to exhibit my favorite artists and also a dear friend and was one of my top goals when I started TPP. It was a great ending to the first chapter in the Gallery’s book.

After a 1 year hiatus, TPP is proud to announce the most recent exhbition by Puertorrican artist living and working in NYC, the one and only Jose Morales.

This exhibition was designed and created by Morales as a site specific project in line wth the TPP’s only regulation which is everything sold must be under $500 to ensure everyone has access to buy and collect art.

Morales (B. 1948, San Juan, PR) is one of the most known, respected and beloved artist on the Island. He left Puert Rico in the 70’s and established himself in NYC where he has worked during all these years.

In the last two decades he has concentraed in showing his works at Museums and large exhibition spaces among them the MAPR, MAC and numerous cultural centers as well as Educational spaces like the Sacred Heart University, Interamerican University and la Liga de Arte.

Considered the artists artist, he is a prolific artist that dominates drawing, painting, installation, collages, mixed media and basically all disciplines of the plastic arts. We can see his influence in a lot of the works on the newer generation.

More than a pleasure, its an honor for us at TPP to be able to show the work of such an accomplished artist whose place is cemented in the Puerto Rico Art History.

The series consists of 20 mixed media drawings in an edition of 3 each signed and numbered by the artist. The price per work is $99.99 so everyone can get a piece for under $100.

There is a 5 drawing limit per person for this exhibition.

The exhibition will rrun from December 18-29, 2015. Please follow is on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more information and on locations where we will be exhibiting.

Thanks always for your support. Hope to see you there.
