TPP at Constructo presents: Proyecto EN:2026 - Soleada al Sol by Emmanuel Navarro Pizarro

Trailer Park Proyects is proud to announce the next exhibition for the collaboration project between TPP and Constructo. The exhibition is titled Proyecto EN2026 - Soledad al Sol by Emmanuel Navarro. It's the 1st exhibition of the second season of our project.

The exhibition will consist of over 20 paintings Emmanuel has painted in Puerto Rico's landmark Casa Blanca. Emmanuel Navarro Pizarro is a open air expressionist painter and is well known for his traditional landscapes and still lives. He recently had a solo exhibition at Surco the up and coming artist gallery in Baymon where I had the pleasure of enjoying his craft and see how well he dominated oil painting. 

Grnhaus (local greenhousefor plants) has partnered with us and will collaborate for this exhibition with a curated selection of plants that will dialogue with the paintings and help them feel closer to the real deal of being there in the wild looking at what Navarro sees when he paints in open air. The set up looks amazing and its like coming into the jungle inside the concrete jungle to experience a breath of fresh air in the middle of the city.

We will have live music and free wine sampling sponsored by Apothic Wines. 

Opening will be on September 1st for Martes de Galeria, Hope to see you there at 6pm.

 

Jorge Jimenez pop-up solo show at Trailer Park Proyects - April 7th, 2026

El pasado 4 de abril, 2026, inaguro la exhibicion Pop-up del artista Jorge Jimenez en TPP frente a Constructo para martes de galeria. En su primera exhibicion Jimenez nos exhibe piezas creadas con retazos de vestimenta de los personajes folkloricos del festival de las mascaras de Hatillo la cual es una fiesta popular tradicional de la cultura de el area nor-oeste de Puerto Rico.

En esta la cual es su primera exhibicion formal, Jimenez nos una muestra alrededor de 12 piezas de tamanos variados, nos muestra unas abstracciones en tela creando visuales interesantes con una paleta de color pop creando una propuesta unica y muy original.

Solo un dia para conocer y aprender sobre la propuesta de este joven artista.

 

Cartel Serigrafico Sin Victoria de Admin Torres

As part of Admin Torres exhibition Cuarto Intermedio, TPP has released a limited edition silkscreen print signed and numbered by the artist that will be sold at Constructo for $50. It's a great opportunity to own a great piece of art from one of the best painters in Puerto Rico at a great price. 

The print is 11"x 17" and titled sin victoria, although Admin did some with alternate titles and signed them in different paint pen colors. Only a few left please let me know through Instagram @trailerparkproj if instested. 

The print is part of the on going print series of Trailer Park Proyects to maintain and keep the print tradition in Puerto Rico strong. Printed at La Serigrafica print shop in Rio Piedras.

Como Construir una Isla Pop-up solo show by Fabian Detres for Espacio Dedicado an independent project by Tatina Tamargo

As Trailer Park Proyects grows, there are more responsabilities and less time to fulfill them. I understand the concept of delegating yet it is not my biggest strength in doing so, partly because I can't afford an employee and because I am paranoid that if I don't do it, it will not get done. 

I had never had the idea or visualized being a mentor but I guess time and experience helps get the right person on your door. In comes Tatiana Tamargo a recent NYU graduate who is interested in being part of the local art scene and didn't knew how to approach it or even begin to look. Art scenes are usually underground and very small so she volunteered for martes de galeria and I saw her interest and disposition to learning and becoming involved in this crazy world. I believe in her so I decided to let go a little of the control of the gallery and developed a concept within my Gallery where she could work and become her own project. Titled Espacio Dedicado. The first exhibition under Espacio Dedicado curated by Tatiana is Como construir una Isla of the most underrated artists in Puerto Rico Fabian Detres.

Detres graduated from the Escuela de Artes Plasticas in San Juan and I have been following and collecting his work for over a decade. He is one of the few 5 tool artist I really admire and love the work. He can paint, draw, photograph, install, sculpt and pretty much do everything at the highest level. I'm very happy to finally have had the chance and honor to exhibit Fabian's work in this one day pop-up show at Trailer Park Proyects in front of Constructo on August 4th, 2026.

Curator Tatiana Tamargo selected a group of small painting and drawings according to the guidelines of TPP where exhibitions are designed to show pieces of $500 or under so it can be affordable for everyone and not just a few.

First Screening of Impresiones de Resistencia documentary at the Brooklyn Fine Art Fair

I was honored to be invited to be part of panelist for the world premier screening of the documentary Impresiones de Resistencia produced by Hello Print Fiend at the Brooklyn Fine Art Fair in New York City. 

It was my first time traveling to be part of a forum or panel in an Art Fair so it was a very cool experience for me. The first screening was Powerhouse Arts with a full house and a great group of panel members that I respect a lot. Javier Moreno, Poli Marichal and Fraixa Albizu. We discussed a lot of topics regarding print history in Puerto rico and had a great time. Shoutout to my friend, artist Nicole Bueso for the hospitality and hanging out with me.

The next day the screening was held at the Rafael Tufino print shop (Taller Boricua) at the El Barrio Artspace which was a Public School and is now part of El Museo del Barrio and an art dedicated building. This was packed and it was a bit overwhelming. I can see how important is documenting and the need of the Puerto Rican people to keep connected to their roots and Island by our culture, heritage and love of our country. The Q&A was around 1 hour long and we engaged in some real great stories and how the diaspora keeps in touch and helping Puerto Rico from abroad. 

The moderator was my friend Nitza Tufino daughter of the late Rafael Tufino, a great artist and an exceptional human being. She was very happy to have us there and she had a lot of stories and questions. It was a beautiful moment in time where over 80 people curious about a for of resistance, a culture, a history and people who the USA government has abused, stolen, humiliated, used, experimented, killed, raped, abandoned and has been constantly left out of history and history book. We will never go down without a fight, and we have the evidence in print. 

Las Tallas de Tonylo solo exhibition at Publica - Julio 10, 2024

Por primera vez TPP presenta una exposicion de Santos y Tallas de madera. La exhibicion titulada Desde 0 del artista Tonylo presenta sobre 40 tallas y santos en madera disenados y esculpidos por el artista oriundo de Carolina, PR. El 10 de julio de 2024 fue la apertura de la exhibicion en Publica espacio cultural.

Es la primera muestra individual del artista y la probablemente la primera vez que las tallas de santos son exhibidas y presentadas como arte contemporaneo en vez de artesanias locales. El artista tiene un peculiar estilo que lo caracteriza y utliza en la mayoria cedro del pais para crear sus piezas.

Sin duda alguna es una paso para reconocer a nuestros artistas y disenadores de tallas y darles el reconocimiento de artistas que tan merecido esta. 

Puerto Rico Screening Premier of documentary Impresiones de Resistencia at the Museo de San Juan

Past Saturday, August 8th, I had the privilege of being invited to be one of the guests panelist for the Puerto Rico premier screening of the documentary Impresiones de Resistencia at the Museo de San Juan alongside Mercedes Trelles, Fernando Santiago and Javier Moreno. The documentary is 30 minutes long look at the history of prints dedicated to resist and fight against the colonial government and how it all started with a government program called the Division de educacion a la comunidad (Divedco) by Jack and Irene Delano in the early 1950s.

The documentary goes to interview contemporary artists who talk about their influence of the prints in their life and careers including a list of master printers like Antonio Martorell, Luis Abraham Ortiz, Haydee Landing and others with moderator Nicole from El Museo de San Juan and presented by Fraixa Albizu 

The documentary produced by Hello Print Friend and Miranda Kielland Metcalf was filmed in Puerto Rico in 2025 and is now being introduced at film festivals.

Cartel Serigrafico Conmemorativo de la exposicion EC:2025 de Eduardo Cabrer

Como parte de la exhibicion inagural EC:2025 del proyecto TPP y Constructo, El artista Eduardo Cabrer diseno un cartel serigrafico conmemorativo de la exhibicion. El proyecto esta disenado para que se haga una grafica o cartel conmemorativo de la misma como tributo a la escena de arte original donde se hacian carteles para anunciar las exhibiciones los cuales eran pegados por las calles para informar al publico, ahora que hay redes sociales se ha perdido esa costumbre de conmemorar los eventos y exhibiciones y poder venderlos como souvenier del mismo o como una obra de arte para los asistentes. 

El cartel impreso por La Serigrafica se imprimo en 3 colores diferentes y estaran a la venta en Constructo a $40 cada uno o  $100 por el set de 3 colores diferentes.

TPP Presenta - Pedro Velez - PV2025: Nocturnas de Isabela

 Para nuestra segunda exhibicion del proyecto colaborativo entre TPP y Constructo el artista invitado a exhibir fue Pedro Velez quien ha sido uno de los artistas con quien he trabajado desde que comenze mi carrera como dealer de arte. 

La muestra consiste de pinturas recientes trabajadas en el pueblo costero de Isabela basadas en la enorme interconectividad de raíces, invisibles para muchos, de manglares y las uvas playeras. Es una red bajo nuestros pies que sostiene y mantiene ancladas las dunas que sirven de barrera protectora costera. 

En cierto sentido, la obra es una reflexión sobre cómo alcanzar una sensación de cordura y tenacidad antes del cambio climático impulsado por el hombre, la gentrificación salvaje de nuestros recursos limitados, y los incesantes ciclos de “doom scrolling” en las redes sociales. 

La exhibicion que corrio por 3 meses desde Noviembre del 2025 a febrero del 2026 fue una de cambios constantes ya que el artista decidio en su propuesta cambiar de lugar y reemplazar las piezas todos los meses teniendo la oportunidad de mostrar mas trabajos y que la experiencia fuera una diferente siempre todos los meses, algo no muy comun pero que le dio una nueva todos los meses y nuevas narrativa a la exhibicion.

De la exhibicion se produjo una serigrafia edicion limitada y firmada por el artista la cual impresa por La Serigrafica. La pieza es un detalle alterado de una de las piezas mas emblematicas y reconocidad de Pedro Velez que es Twitter X la cual esta a la venta por $40.

TPP y Constructo Presentan: AT2026 - Cuarto intermedio de Admin Torres

 Admin Torres ha sido una de las artistas mas importantes para Trailer Park Proyects. Fue una de las primeras artistas que conoci y de quien presente su trabajo en todas mis exhibiciones. Ademas de ser una de las mejores pintoras de su generacion es una de las mejores dibujantes a su vez. El dominio que tiene de la figura humana es obsesivo y las variaciones y mutaciones que se desarrollan de ese conocimiento hacen de su obra una creativa con un estilo diferente que la ha hecho sobresalir desde que estaba cursaba en la Escuela de Artes Plasticas. 

Nos complace anunciar su mas reciente trabajo que sera presentado en Constructo titulado AT2026 - Cuarte Intermedio. Torres presenta su nuevo cuerpo de trabajo incluyendo pintura, dibujos, fotografia, escultura, instalacion, orfebreria y serigrafia con sus caracteristicos temas como el amor, sensualidad, erotismo y la muerte. Una muestra super completa en la que presenta su dominio de los diferentes medios que trabajo para ella.

Esta exhibicion nos demuestra porque Admin es de las artistas mas queridas y respetadas dentro de la escena del arte y porque ha logrado obtener este respeto de todos, la honestidad y sinceridad en su trabajo, porque no pinta para decorar sino para trasmitir un mensaje fuerte y honesto sobre su realidad y la realidad que a muchos nos rodea.

La serigrafia titulada Sin Victoria con algunas variaciones de titulos, es de 2 colores edicion limitada a 25 ejemplares. La grafica fue impresa en el Taller La Serigrafica por Oscar Melendez-Rivera. La misma estara para la venta en $40 en Constructo o TPP por DM.

TPP y Constructo presentan ET2026 de Emanuel Torres

Después de 7 años sin exhibir en Puerto Rico, el artista Emanuel Torres presenta su nueva exhibición titulada ET2026 donde estará presentando sus trabajos recientes que ha estado produciendo desde el 2019. 

Torres egresado de la UPR con especialización en Teatro, Performance, Video e instalación, Pintura y Filosofia ha estado trabajando en muestras internacionales con la exhibición individual Fractured Shadows en el 2020 y Surrounded by Water en el 2022 en Latchkey Gallery en New York y su exhibición individual mas reciente Absence of Light en David Klein Gallery en Detroit, Michigan en 2025.

Su ultima exhibición individual en Puerto Rico fue en el Museo de Arte y Diseño de Miramar (MadMi) en el 2019 titulada Rio en la mano pero sentia la necesidad de mostrar en Puerto Rico y el proyecto TPP/Constructo le da la oportunidad de exhibir sin restricciones pues el proyecto es curado por el artista mismo.

El artista quien es conocido por su domino del lenguaje abstracto tomando las riendas del genero que en Puerto Rico ha sido llevado por Luis Hernandez Cruz, Olga Albizu, Carmelo Fontanez y Julio Suarez entre otros algunos quienes son sus mentores y amigos.

La apertura sera el 3 de marzo en Constructo como parte de los eventos de martes de galeria de 6pm a 10pm y estaremos dando talleres para familias durante los 3 meses de duración de la exhibición y el cierre esta pautado para el 5 de mayo.
